About Trio Academy
Trio Academy is a 2-months training program for children between 8 and 18 years old. We build lifelong behaviours in physical activity, hydration, recovery, discipline, and confidence. We also provide post-training nutritional support.

What age group is this badminton class for?
Trio Academy's badminton class is for kids ages 8 to 18. Students are grouped by ability as well as age, so first-timers and more advanced players each get coaching suited to their level.
Where is Trio Academy located?
Trio Court, St. 1019, Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
How much does it cost?
$69 per 8-week term — one session per week, your choice of day and time. That covers coaching, progress tracking, and all the gear your child needs, so there's nothing else to buy before their first class.
What are the class days and times?
One session per week. Parents choose both the day (Saturday or Sunday) and the time slot (9:00–11:00, 14:00–16:00 or 16:00-18:00) when enrolling.
Does my child need prior badminton experience?
No — beginners are welcome. Every 8-week term builds the fundamentals from the ground up: grip, ready stance, footwork, serve, and clear.
Do I need to buy a racket, shoes, or other equipment?
No. Every student gets a free Trio Academy t-shirt with their name printed on it, plus a racket, shuttlecocks, and shoes — all included in the term fee. Parents don't need to buy anything separately.
What if my child just wants to have fun, not train seriously?
Trio Academy runs two tracks. Track A is for first-timers and casual players — 70% games, 30% technique, focused on fun and making friends. Track B is for competitive, tournament-focused students — 40% games, 60% focused technical drilling.
What makes Trio Academy different from other badminton programs in Phnom Penh?
Every session follows a structured format — warm-up, a live skills assessment during practice rally, a short video review of what to improve, targeted drills, and gamified practice — instead of unstructured court time. Students also get a free personalized shirt and all their equipment included, and are split into two tracks so casual and competitive kids each get the right balance of fun versus focused training.
What does a typical session look like?
Each 120-minute session includes a warm-up, a practice rally where coaches spot what to improve, a quick video-based skills review, structured drills, a gamified skill-building segment, and a cooldown — with snacks and optional bonus match play at the end.
